LET US HELP!
New construction or existing homes can both benefit with the use a heat cable installation. But what type is best for you? That will depend on how much you are willing to spend.
Commercial cables are more expensive, however they melt the ice and snow better, are self regulating, carry a 10 yr product warranty, can be cut to size. Depending on the length of cable needed, a lot of existing homes do not have an adequate power supply. But don't worry, we work directly with a licensed electrician to make sure you do.
Residential cables are less expensive. They will melt the snow and ice, but usually need to be turned on prior to ice build up, as they do not heat up as much as commercial cables. This can cause a problem if you forget to turn them on, and your gutters ice up. They carry only a 1 yr product warranty, and must be installed in pre-cut lengths. They usually do not need additional electrical work done.
